The Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV) would like to communicate the following announcement from the Board of Imams The first day of the holy month of Ramadan 2010 will be commencing on Thursday the 12th of August 2010.
We wish you all a blessed month filled with piety and goodness.
People are also advised to contact their local mosque to check on programs in their area for the month.
From the Islamic Council of Victoria, we also wish you all a blessed and holy month in which we can grow stronger in faith and piety. The ICV will also be holding nightly Iftar (breaking of the fast) and people are welcome to join us at the City Mosque. Taraweeh prayers will be starting on Wednesday night after Ishaa prayers.
